Informal Consultation - Residents Parking - Enderby

Leicestershire County Council is seeking residents' views on the introduction of a residents parking scheme in Enderby.

The County Council is seeking views in response to the concerns voiced by residents over issues relating to parking capacity, parking by non-residents, access for service and emergency vehicles, safety and quality of life. Blaby residents are being asked to check that details on the Household Enquiry Form - soon to be delivered across the District - are correct.

The Electoral Registration Officer is required to carry out an annual check of who should be registered to vote.

Every home will be receiving a form asking residents to ensure that the information on the electoral register for the address is up to date.

Enderby Lawn Tennis Club benefits as £71,000 is awarded to communities

Thousands of pounds of vital funding has been awarded to 61 local community groups through Blaby District Council's Community Grants scheme.

In total, £71,723 was granted to local groups in 2016-17. The money goes towards projects both large and small, from coach trips to building extensions and new equipment.

Cash in transit robbery in Enderby

Detectives are appealing for information after a cash in transit robbery in Enderby.

A security van driver was making a delivery of cash to Barclays bank in Broad Street at around 11.20am on Friday 17th March.

He was approached by two men, one of which hit him on the arm with a crowbar, before they made off with a quantity of cash into a silver Ford Fiesta which was waiting with a driver nearby.
