Cash in transit robbery in Enderby

Detectives are appealing for information after a cash in transit robbery in Enderby.
A security van driver was making a delivery of cash to Barclays bank in Broad Street at around 11.20am on Friday 17th March.
He was approached by two men, one of which hit him on the arm with a crowbar, before they made off with a quantity of cash into a silver Ford Fiesta which was waiting with a driver nearby.
The Fiesta was later found abandoned in Mill Lane, Enderby.
The driver sustained a minor injury to his arm and didn't have medical treatment.
Officers are looking at CCTV at neighbouring properties and appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
