Cllr. John Jones was born in 1959 to proud parents Joyce, a hosiery worker and Malcolm, a Painter & Decorator, who raised him on the Eyres Monsell Estate in Leicester.

John attended Rollestone Junior School, South Wigston High School and later attended Countesthorpe College. Upon leaving College he began an apprenticeship in Mechanics at Cosby Suppliers and later became a Technician for British Gas. In 1985 John started a business with a friend who later departed from the company. Since then, John has run Broad Street Garage, on Brook Street, Enderby, as a family business with his Wife Angela and Son Steven who manages the day-to-day operation.

John is a proud Father to Steven, Kelly and Rebecca and takes great delight in being a Grandad to his 5 grandchildren.

John wishes his very best for the people of Enderby and still attends the University of Life.
