In addition to a variety of shops in the centre of Enderby, we also have the out-of-town shopping areas of Fosse Shopping Park and Grove Farm Triangle, the business park - Grove Park, and the Everards Brewery which lie between St John's and the outskirts of the city.

The head office of clothing retailer Next (clothing) is located in Enderby, adjacent to the M.69. The main entrance for the head office is off the B582 Desford Road. In 2015 NEXT Group announced that, in partenrship with Everard's they were to significantly increase their presence in the Fosse Park area by developing a new retail area called 'Castle Meadows' with a multi-story retail outlet on the site currently occupied by Everard's Brewery. For their part, Everards are planning to invest in a new state-of-the-art food and drink park – called Everards Meadows – south of Soar Valley Way, including a new Everards brewery as well as offices, a pub, restaurants, and craft food and drink production facilities.

Elsewhere in Enderby (Seine Lane and St.John's respectively) you can find Hawgrips Nursery and Palmer's Garden Centre. E.H.Smith and Son on Mill Hill have a DIY outlet and trade counter for construction materials.

The village centre has many small businesses, including a newsagents, petrol station, cafe, bank, bookmakers, garages and a handful of branch offices belonging to building societies and estate agents. There are also a number of Gentlemen's and Ladies hairdressing salons around the village as well as a beauty parlour, tanning and tattoo shops.

There are two 'Co-operative Food' stores close to each other. The original store on Mill Lane is owned by Midlands Co-operative Society Limited. The new store on Cross Street (Foremely Kwik-Save and Somerfield) is owned by Co-operative Group Limited based in Manchester, which took over the store following the Co-operative's purchase of Somerfield stores.

When the village postmaster David Lapworth retired in 2011, the Cross Street Co-operative store became the home of the Post Office.
